Allied Consult approaches leadership and organisational development from a psychological and system theoretical perspective.

Within this framework Allied Consult applies the following philosophy:

An organisation is a functional relationship between people with a common aim and task. Human characteristics such as ambition, passion, ideals, fears, doubts, rivalry, tenacity, creativity and ethics always play an important part in that relationship. These characteristics have a profound influence on the behaviour of people and they contribute to the success of organisations .

Human behaviour is determined by the interaction between the rational and the irrational, the visible and the invisible, the conscious and the unconscious factors and patterns. The same is true for the functioning of an organisation. Individuals, teams and organisations can only be comprehended if the psychological dimension is included. The psychological dimension should be an integral and continual consideration in modelling and managing organisations. One of the paradoxes of organisations is that this very important psychological reality surfaces only with great difficulty.
